Patient Care

Allergy-Overview

Allergy/Immunology is a field devoted to the diagnosis and management of adverse reactions to multiple substances including aeroallergens (pollens, dust, mold, pollens etc), foods, and drugs. Many patients with allergies also suffer from asthma. Other disorders commonly seen by allergists are urticaria (hives), angioedema, anaphylaxis, stinging insect allergy and immunodeficiency.

Our clinic and nearby facilities allow patients to be evaluated comprehensively. We offer spirometry and full pulmonary function testing nearby and in-clinic services include skin testing, immunotherapy injections (allergy shots), xolair injections and phlebotomy for lab testing.

Drs. Viviana Temino and Lauren Fine have been at the University of Miami as our adult allergists since 2011.

Clinic appointments are available Monday-Friday. The University of Miami Health System offers several ways to request an appointment with these physicians. You can make an appointment by calling Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Eastern Time at 305-243-0164. Appointments can also be requested online at: https://uhealthsystem.com/appointment.
